Turkuaz

Turquoise is the color water keeps when it runs deep held still, lit from somewhere below. Turkuaz is cast by hand in that same depth: resin poured in slow layers, the surface clouding and clearing like something seen through water. The grid is drawn into the field, the frosted and clear pieces standing where the color settles. No two boards hold the light the same way. It arrives in a birch box marked with the Decipula seal not a game to be packed away, but a piece of still water kept open in the room. Poured. Cured. Yours.
